The CARE  is a scenario based assessment protocol to identify a woman's vulnerability to particular types or categories of exploitation (e.g., physical, emotional, sexual, financial).  It can be administered in approximately 30 min by a professional who presents a series of hypothetical scenarios, e.g., "You and your new boyfriend have really hit it off, spending hours of waking and sleeping together.  He says that the next step in your committment is to pool your resources and merge bank accounts".  The woman is asked to rate the appeal of the proposal.      Upon completing all items, a profile is rendered to identify areas of vulnerability that can focus the therapist's clinical and educational efforts.  Two versions of the protocol are included, allowing for pre/post assessment.  Technical detail included.  This is a digital product to be delivered to email address you provide at checkout.
