Family Preservation & Family Functioning describes the outcomes of home-based preservation services for families presenting histories of abuse and neglect.  The authors examined the impact made by two voluntary agencies in Los Angeles County on families from case opening to a year long follow up.  It is an e3xcellent account of how a child welfare agency can examine its own impact.
